Bahamas "Lenny Kravitz: Fly Away"
Director: Jeremy McDermott
Production Company: Tambourine

The Bahamas “Lenny Kravitz: Fly Away” is a tourism campaign directed by Jeremy McDermott for Tambourine and photographed by Director of Photography Sherman Johnson. Executive produced by Rafael Cardozo and produced by Leda Barham, the project was filmed across Eleuthera, The Bahamas, and features Lenny Kravitz sharing his connection to the islands he calls home. Rather than presenting The Bahamas through a traditional travel-commercial lens, the campaign focuses on Kravitz’s personal experiences and relationship with the people, culture, and landscapes of Eleuthera. The film combines candid interviews with documentary-style observations, following him as he spends time on the water, explores the island, and interacts with local residents. Photographed on the ARRI Alexa Mini with Ultra Prime lenses, the visual approach embraces handheld camerawork, natural light, and an observational documentary style. The result is an intimate portrait that feels authentic and personal while celebrating the beauty, character, and culture of The Bahamas.
