David Beckham “The New Collection” is a commercial campaign for David Beckham Eau de Parfum, directed by Pete Gibbons and photographed by Director of Photography Sherman Johnson. Filmed in Miami, Florida, the campaign follows Beckham through a series of environments inspired by the three fragrances in the collection: Refined Woods, Aromatic Greens, and Infinite Aqua. Developed around the visual characteristics of each scent, the commercial moves between coastal landscapes, wooded environments, and natural outdoor settings that reflect the collection’s distinct identities. The imagery was designed to feel authentic and observational, allowing Beckham’s presence and the locations themselves to carry the storytelling. Photographed on the ARRI Alexa Mini with an Angénieux zoom lens, the project was shot primarily handheld to create a sense of immediacy and naturalism. The approach allowed the production to move efficiently while maximizing the time available with Beckham and capturing a wide range of imagery across multiple locations.
