Uncharted Discoveries x Land Rover “Discover Your Adventure” is a commercial directed by Ronnie Krensel and photographed by Director of Photography Sherman Johnson. Filmed in the desert landscapes outside Phoenix, Arizona, the campaign features Josh Gates and draws inspiration from expedition travel and off-road exploration. Set against the rugged terrain of the American Southwest, the commercial combines automotive cinematography with large-scale desert imagery, following Gates as he travels through remote landscapes in a Land Rover. The campaign embraces a spirit of adventure while highlighting the vehicle’s presence within the environment. Photographed on the ARRI Alexa Mini with ARRI Ultra Prime lenses, the production utilized gimbal systems and vehicle-mounted camera rigs to capture dynamic driving sequences across the desert terrain. The visual approach balances expansive landscapes, practical action, and immersive automotive photography.
