Wynwood is a branded content short film directed by Fro Rojas, produced by Frank Kelly, and photographed by Director of Photography Sherman Johnson. Filmed in Miami, Florida, the project stars Melvin Lima and Liz Twining. The film follows Michael and Ana, a young couple visiting Miami for a wedding. Upon arriving, Ana learns the wedding may be called off. As they wait for further news, the two spend the day exploring Wynwood, where questions about their own future together begin to surface. What starts as a day of sightseeing gradually becomes a moment of reflection as they are forced to decide whether to continue their relationship or move on with their lives. Produced as part of the Reel Miami series, the film showcases the art, architecture, and atmosphere of Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood while telling an intimate relationship story. Photographed on a RED camera with Sony CineAlta Prime lenses, the film was shot primarily handheld in an intimate and immediate style, allowing the audience to experience the city alongside the characters as they navigate a pivotal moment in their relationship.
